2024 Chairs Victor & Patty Simone The mission of the Mixed Fours is to encourage Members to play mixed social golf one Sunday afternoon a month. Established handicaps are required for participation, but a variety of formats allow golfers at all handicap levels to enjoy the events. Ordinarily Men play from the Blue Tees and Women from the Green Tees, but we may experiment with other tees to level the field. Couples can sign up with another couple of their choice or ask the Pro Shop to make up their foursome. If your team has taken first place in a previous Mixed Fours’ event at the beginning of the calendar year, you are no longer eligible for first place gross/net in all events of the Association for the remainder of the calendar year. After golf, we enjoy drinks and a buffet dinner in the Great Room. Play in the Mixed Fours is open to all Members. If you are a current Mixed Fours Member, your Membership will continue in the following year. An annual Membership fee of $100 per couple is billed in December for the upcoming year, and $20 per couple is billed for each regular monthly tournament that is played. Members who join on or after July 1 will be billed half of the annual fee. The tournament fee is used to award sweeps (Pro Shop credits) to winners. Fees for the Invitational and Championship will be advised when signing up for these events. The Pro Shop, if asked, will try to match up singles for play, but all regular monthly formats are designed for two men and two women to play as a foursome. Inviting a guest couple is only allowed for the Invitational. Before going out on the course, please check-in and pick up a scorecard and rules sheet.
